Somfy and Netatmo are joining forces to add the benefits of Netatmo sensors to homeowners' TaHoma scenes. Homeowners and occupants manage their indoor air quality with Netatmo. As soon as indoor air needs renewing, motorised windows open automatically thanks to the "Smart airing" pre-set scene in TaHoma app..

For improved thermal comfort and to keep indoor temperatures lower in summer, roller shutters close as soon as the temperature reaches a certain threshold.

All Netatmo Indoor Air Quality Monitor and Weather Station measurements are now available in the TaHoma app, for a multitude of possibilities (indoor and outdoor temperature sensor, humidity, noise, etc.*).

Manage indoor air quality with motorised windows

Room occupants don't always have the reflex to ventilate the spaces that they naturally spend a lot of time in. When the air inside gets stale, the TaHoma's automated scene 'Smart Airing' opens automatically motorised windows as soon as CO2 levels become high. Air is refreshed, without having to think about it. Occupants can also choose to be notified on their smartphone when CO2 or humidity levels are too high.

Improve thermal comfort year-round

Taking advantage of outer window coverings throughout the year helps manage indoor temperatures. In the summer, the coverings close automatically when outside temperatures get too high. In the winter, they open to let in the sun's natural warmth.

For example, using Netatmo weather station's temperature sensor, homeowners program their roller shutters in TaHoma app to close as soon as the outside temperature exceeds 22°C in summer. In the winter, they can program them to open, to benefit from the natural heat of the sun.

Manage devices with greater precision thanks to Netatmo sensors

Netatmo Indoor Air Quality Sensor and Weather Station measurements are all available in TaHoma app. Occupants and homeowners create advanced scenes with their connected devices according to sensor readings.

For example, with the noise sensor, they can turn off connected lights or music, or other devices as soon as nobody is detected in the room. They can also switch their heating devices to eco mode as soon as nobody is detected in a room - a bedroom for example. With a little imagination and planning, homeowners are able to entirely optimise their home's comfort and energy efficiency.
