Amazon and Somfy are partnering so that homeowners and occupants enjoy the best of a connected home. They can launch their favourite TaHoma scenes without lifting a finger. A new way to control home equipment: a sentence is enough to close shutters or turn off the light.

Thanks to voice control, controlling smart home equipment has become intuitive and user-friendly for homeowners and occupants! Just request Alexa to launch you pre-configured scenes created in Somfy's TaHoma app : "Alexa, close my blinds."

Time-Saving

No need to switch on smartphones and open the TaHoma app to launch a scene that was created in it! Homeowners simply ask Alexa to activate the desired scene : “Alexa, activate leaving home.”

A New World of Possibilities

Thanks to Alexa's compatibility with other major smart home brands, it's now possible to extend scenes to include many other favourite smart home products.

In a few words by saying "Alexa, activate movie night", occupants can close the interior blinds and dim their Philips Hue lights.
